BrightLocal’s Consumer Search Behavior reports, published 24 June and 9 July 2026. The reported sample was a representative panel of 1,227 U.S. consumers who had searched online for a local business in the previous three months.

These are self-reported search habits. They do not measure the sales or profit increase caused by creating a website, and are not a UK survey.

Looks the part.

A useful website brings the essentials together, so your customers spend less time searching and more time getting to know you.

Tell us what you need
01

A look that feels like you.

Thoughtful type, colours and layouts, shaped around your business and the people you want to reach.

02

Good on the small screen.

Clear menus, readable information and easy-to-tap actions, with mobile layouts checked before launch.

03

A clear next step.

An enquiry, a booking link or a connection to your ordering provider. We agree the right setup for you.

04

Yours, from the start.

Your domain and service accounts belong to you. Provider bills go directly to you, with future support agreed separately.

A little perspective

What would it
take to break even?

Try your own numbers. This is the extra business needed to cover the website cost—not a prediction of what a website will earn.

Contribution means what is left after the direct cost of serving that customer, before website costs, overheads and tax.

19
extra customers over one year

to cover £470 in setup and running costs.

Illustrative figures. Not a quote, forecast or guarantee. Your actual costs and margins may differ.

Clear from the first conversation

A good website.
A straightforward process.

You know your business. We’ll turn that knowledge into a website with a clear purpose, an agreed scope and a proper handover.

01 / LISTEN

Start with
your business.

What you do, who you help, and what your customers need to find. We agree the scope and quote before the build.

02 / MAKE

Make it
feel right.

You see the design, try it on your phone and give feedback. The details are refined around the agreed brief.

03 / LAUNCH

Check it.
Then hand it over.

We check the pages and agreed interactions, connect your domain, and explain ownership and future updates.

A few good questions

Let’s keep
things clear.

Will a website guarantee more sales?

No. Results depend on your offer, traffic, pricing and service as well as the website. The aim is to help people understand your business and take the next step. The research above describes search habits, not guaranteed results.

Who pays for hosting and the domain?

You own the accounts and pay your providers directly. The website build is quoted separately, and any future maintenance or content changes are agreed in advance.

Can you add online ordering or bookings?

We can discuss connecting a suitable existing service. Its features, fees and compatibility are checked before that work is quoted. The restaurant example is a demonstration and does not take real orders.

Can I update the website myself?

That is something we decide together at the start. An editing platform can make sense if you update content regularly; a simpler site with separately agreed updates may suit other businesses.
